How to Get Naturally Glowing Skin

Glowing skin is rarely an accident. In the clinic we see it most often in people who keep a short, steady routine rather than chasing every new launch. Cleanse gently, treat with one active serum, moisturize while skin is still damp, and never skip sunscreen in the morning.

Exfoliation helps too, but twice a week is plenty. Over-scrubbing strips the barrier and leaves skin dull, which is the opposite of the glow you want. If your cheeks sting when you apply moisturizer, scale back and let the barrier recover for a few days.

Finally, watch the basics: water, sleep and a silk pillowcase all show up on your face faster than any serum. Give a new routine three full weeks before you judge it, and take a photo in the same light each Sunday so you can see the change.
